They were able to give me back 20 radish coins when my phone glitched in the coin store

So far, its a decent app! The only problems I have with it is this: 1: For some reason I dont get notified of a story being updated, even though I have it set up in my iPhones Settings to where I *SHOULD* be getting Notifications—but Im not getting ANYTHING. Ive tried deleting the app and reinstalling, as well as shutting my phone on and off, with NO changes. 2: it would be helpful to have an easy access Library (like on Kindle & iBooks) that you can see all of your books youre reading in an icon-type list that you can arrange Alphabetically, Recently Read, or Recently Updated. [Example: the Wattpad app. Now THERES an app/website that gives its readers/users a easy access library] Otherwise, Id be even more happy using this app :D

I downloaded the radish app a couple of months ago when my favorite author (Sir Rob is the greatest) started to post his story on it. Ive never experienced any glitches and the layout of the app is simple enough for me to be able to navigate it easily. However, I have had issues purchasing coins twice. Once was a mistake on my part and couldnt be reversed unfortunately. The second time was an honest mishap between apple and radish. Both times I reached out to the radish team about an issue they replied within a day. They were helpful and answered all of my questions thoroughly. Each time I have reached out Ive been happy with the result. The customer service team is incredible and diligent!

Not only are my favorite writers on here but also other amazing writers! Love the idea for paying them for their writing bc they deserve it ! Also the coin store support was on point!! Helped me get my coins as fast as possible when I was having some trouble !

I use things like this to help me with school(with spelling & keep ideas going) but on here I cant do that. I have to fill out something which they dont tell me if I got in or not. I would like to read AND write on this app.

It slow and because of it, Ive lost a total of 9-12 coins trying to purchase a chapter of one of my favorite stories. I was never reimbursed for those lost coins. Its extremely frustrating because its the only place that my favorite author posts her stories, so I HAVE to use it. I wouldnt otherwise.

Customer service is amazing! I had a small problem and they helped right away! Everything runs smoothly and the apps layout is simple and easy to navigate!

Radish is a pretty great app. Many people say it is a knock off of Wattpad, but they have their differences. Many authors love writing and do it for fun, but there are still many others who cant or have to stop writing because they need money, and they need to work for it and writing wastes their time. This app offers a solution and lets them make money while still doing what they love; writing. Right now, with the all being new, there is a limited selection of stories and books, but in time, that will change. I believe this app is great and worth everyones time, and is especially great if you have patience, if you dont want to spend money.

Ok so 1: took me FOREVER to make an account, multiple email addresses, Facebook, and whatever else. Total pain. 2: it doesnt save your place what so ever! Like if you close the app it starts you not even in the book, THEN if you go the book you have to pick a chapter OR go to recently viewed and it starts you at the beginning of the chapter. Ugggggh 3: (this ties in with 2) So if your reading and go to scroll MULTIPLE TIMES IN THE SAME PARAGRAPH it took me back to the home screen and I HAD TO START OVER /FIND WHERE I WAS. GOD. This is what pushed me over the edge. 4: tbh not a big fan of having to pay money/waiting a week AFTER an update to read a chapter. Really pushes the books away and by the time I am ALLOWED to read them, Im uninterested. Honestly, LOTS of good stories in here, sadly. Long review short, stay to Wattpad.

I feel when you first sign up for radish, you should at least get 15 free coins so it encourages people to buy some when they run out. Also if you accidentally swipe while reading you exit the book and have to find your place again, its very annoying.

Ugh. So I was on board with this app at first. It sounds like a great plan, and Im all for writers getting paid. But not only does the app glitch up and not work but there is no offline reading option. If you get interrupted, you have to start at the beginning. And there are no guarantees that a story will be finished. That means an author could just stop. Plus some of these writers are awful (seriously, I checked out several of the popular romance books on the apps front page. When I opened up some of these supposedly edited books, they were filled with misplaced commas, mispelled words, and tense shifts, not to mention boring cliched stories. Supposedly Radish is curating content, but god these people theyre choosing. Not only that but in a recent discusion that cropped up, some of the Radish writers started bullying and badmouthing people like me who had some concerns about Radish. Listen, guys. If were paying good money to get a serial, its not too much to say that were just wondering what guarantees there are that the author wont just drag the story on and squeeze all the money out and leave us without finishing the story. Its also not too much to raise questions and concerns. I would have loved to support this but I dont want to support crappy people like this.

I really love this app. When I first heard of it, I was so for it. I love the concept but I do think it needs some improving. I would like if there was a comment section so that way you could connect with the authors. The glitching needs fixing too. But over all, its good.

Not only do they charge you some fee for every chapter, they dont have all the chapters out at once AND theres no guarantee that the book will even be finished. Some of these books are completely crap, so dont waste your money on something that isnt even that good. Im all for paying authors, but this whole set up turned out to be a horrible idea from the beginning. It you want a good book that youre going to have to pay for, just go to a book store where they have great choices and the books are at least already finished. Otherwise try your luck for free on Wattpad or other online places where at least it doesnt cost you your hope if the author doesnt provide an ending, or if they just squander up a terrible ending just so that they get money for finishing the book. I rate this -7/10. It could have been good, I though so too, but then I learned my lesson.

Ive had this or a week or so, and Ive only started to open it today. And its already crashing every time I try to open a chapter. Its crap an not worth the time or storage.

This is honestly the dumbest app I have ever been on. Wattpad has entire books you dont have to wait a month for this is honestly why would you waste your money on this for two minutes of reading its not worth it go back to wattpad because teens need money for college not to read two minutes of book. Im not going to waist 20 days for a chapter thats already there. I dont even think the writers of these books are getting paid so why should we pay for advanced chapters????? Dont post chapters if you wont want them public .Period.

After having the app for a while with no coins you tend to get agitated when you have restrictions on what books you can and cant read but once you have coins you begin to enjoy the app more. Only con is that the layout for reading is restricted, you can only scroll through the chapters which personally Im not used to. I end up swiping back to the chapter page accidentally pretty often which is irritating but bearable.

Lets us read the chapters offline. Ive to redownload the chapters every time I accidentally swipe the screen.
